Polymer Coolants for Immersion Hardening
Polymer coolant of the “modified PAG” type with a significantly milder cooling effect compared to commonly used polymer agents, used for medium-alloyed steels and for quenching steels.
PVP (polyvinylpyrrolidone) polymer cooling agent with an oil-like cooling effect. A direct alternative to oil refining – conventional or heat forming – with the possibility of hot drawing for particularly fracture-sensitive materials or components.
Oil-like polymer coolant with a particularly mild cooling effect. When applied to a concentration of approx. 10%, it achieves comparatively the same retardation and quenching results as quenching oils. Designed for refinement – conventional or heat forming – with the possibility of hot drawing.
A standard polymer cooling agent type PAG (polyxyalkylene glycol) for quenching between water and oil, guaranteeing effective corrosion protection for hardening equipment and hardened materials, as well as high resistance to micro-organisms.
